THE FOUNDER

From Maria

Hi, I’m Maria — the founder of Uncontainable.

I started this brand five years ago, when I was a freshman, almost without realizing what it would become. At the time, it was just an idea. A project I carried with me between classes, training sessions, and big dreams. Today, Uncontainable is still deeply personal — I design every piece because this brand is a reflection of my journey.

For a long time, I was told what I couldn’t do.

That I would never make it to the U.S. to compete in NCAA Division I.
That building a brand while being an athlete and a student wasn’t realistic.
That my body was “too much,” that certain events weren’t for me, that some dreams were simply out of reach.

And yet — here I am.

I’m a Division I track & field athlete, a 400m hurdler, an MBA student at GCU, and the New Zealand national record holder in the women’s decathlon. None of this came easily. Every step required belief — especially on the days when doubt was louder than confidence.

Uncontainable was born from that space.

I created it for women who have ever been told they’re too much, not enough, or not capable. For women who love movement but sometimes struggle with confidence. For those chasing big goals, quietly and persistently.

This brand exists to remind you — gently, daily — that you are allowed to believe in yourself. That strength and femininity can coexist. That you don’t need to change who you are to reach your full potential.

Uncontainable isn’t just something I built.
It’s something I live — and something I share with you.
